Board of Directors
Josephine, an experienced private equity practitioner based in Asia, has over 30 years of experience in emerging markets. She is the Director and Co-founder of Anthem Asia Limited, acts as an investment advisor to the Vietnam Investment Group and Insitor Partners, and serves as a trustee of The Croucher Foundation (-February 2024). She co-founded Anthem Asia, focusing on socially responsible opportunities in Myanmar, and spent 13 years with CLSA Capital Partners, co-founding their pan-Asian private equity platform. She graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury, is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales and Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Securities Institute.
Josephine Price
Vinit is a Partner at Bain & Company, co-head of Bain’s APAC Performance Improvement practice, and co-head of Bain’s Private Equity Practice for Greater China. With 25 years of global management consulting experience, Vinit has led numerous due diligence assignments and worked with portfolio companies on business unit strategy and performance improvement. He has also supported many funds in the region with fund strategy and operations. Vinit has led Bain’s work with social enterprises and NGOs in Hong Kong, focusing on social welfare, the arts, and environmental causes. He holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a B. Comm from Queen’s University.
Vinit Bhatia
Patrick, currently COO of BPEA EQT, worked for BPEA from 2006 until it merged with EQT in 2022. He is a member of BPEA EQT’s Portfolio Management and Exit and Liquidity Committees, overseeing professional support functions such as investment structuring, fund operations, portfolio monitoring, legal and compliance, and market risk, and jointly oversees the human capital function. Patrick also manages BPEA EQT’s philanthropic activities and serves on the Board of Social Impact Partners. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University.
Patrick Cordes
Jennifer, Chief Executive of The Chen-Yet Sen Family Foundation, leads "Moonshot Philanthropy" to address early childhood literacy and vision correction. She previously led Asia operations for the Clearly campaign, influencing global perception of vision correction and leading to the founding of the UN 'Friends of Vision' group and the 'Vision for Everyone' resolution. During COVID-19, Jennifer launched the #BridgetheGapHK campaign, providing unrestricted funding to Hong Kong NGOs. She is also the Director of Philanthropic Engagement at Legacy Advisors and serves as a senior advisor to charities including Social Impact Partners and Bring Me a Book Hong Kong.

Roy Kuan is a private investor across a variety of asset classes. Roy previously worked at CVC Capital Partners from 1999-2020, and Citigroup’s Asia Private Equity investment division from 1995-1999. Roy holds a BA degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Doug Miller
Doug, an American residing in Boston who has lived in the UK for over 30 years, has over 40 years of experience in financial services, primarily private equity. He founded and ran International Private Equity Limited from 1990 to 2010, gaining expertise across Europe and Asia. Doug is a founding member of Social Impact Partners in Hong Kong and Social Investment Partners in Japan, as well as the Founder Chairman of both the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) and the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN). He serves on the advisory boards of various venture philanthropy and social impact funds across Europe and Asia.
James Chen
James, a founding member of SIP, is Chairman of Wahum Group Holdings, a manufacturing company in Hong Kong and Nigeria. In 1995, he founded Legacy Advisors Limited, revolutionizing his family's wealth management. He also founded the Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation, supporting over 170 initiatives in China, Hong Kong, and West Africa, and Bring Me a Book Hong Kong, an NGO promoting childhood literacy. James is involved in developing adjustable lens technology with Adlens and Vision for a Nation, correcting vision in the developing world. He is a Vision for a Nation Trustee, a member of the Outward Bound Trust of Hong Kong, and has invested in Delta Health and Ammado.
Howard Ling
Howard, an advisor of SIP, is Chief Consultant of HKCSS-HSBC Social Enterprise Business Centre and Convenor of the Artificial Intelligence and Social Intelligence Alliance, began his social entrepreneurial journey in 2004 and has founded or consulted for over 50 social enterprises. He serves as a consultant or advisor to numerous foundations and educational institutions in Hong Kong and Macau. Recognized for his public and community service, Howard received the Medal of Honour from HKSAR and the Hong Kong Humanity Award in 2017. He holds a BSc from the University of Illinois, an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and graduated from INSEAD's Social Entrepreneurship program.

Lillian Li
Executive Director
Lillian is an experienced professional in impact investing, charity, and startup management since 2008. Currently, she serves as Executive Director at Social Impact Partners and co-founder of Time Capsule. Previously, Lillian held Chief Executive and Director roles at local charities and social enterprises. Her background includes management and marketing in retail and manufacturing. Beyond her professional roles, Lillian contributes as a committee/board member, judge, and mentor for social innovation, business, and youth development programs. She completed the “OSC UBS NGO Leadership Programme” at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017 and the “Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders” at Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2018.

Cherry is a seasoned corporate communication professional known for her impactful community contributions. Her career highlights include cultivating strong partnerships and leveraging strategic thinking to foster collaborative success. Cherry holds a First Class Honours Master’s degree in Social Science from the University of Hong Kong.
