Social Impact Partners is a venture philanthropy fund providing human, financial, and intellectual support to social purpose organisations (SPO) in Hong Kong, both non-profit organisations and social enterprises, to support sustainable development. SIP provides funding as well as management advice with the aim of achieving scalable social impact. Utilising our expertise and network in the business sector among accountants, legal firms, strategy advisors, and human resource consultants, we support the SPO’s sustainable growth in the mid-long term, with advice in strategic development, governance, internal control, marketing, public communication, as well as performance evaluation in the area of social impact. SIP focuses primarily on 3 SDG goals – Good Health and Well-being (3), Reduced Inequalities (10), and Climate Action (13). SIP is a registered charity in Hong Kong (IR File No. 91/13550).
We are looking for talent to oversee community engagement and provide execution capacity to the organisation, reporting directly to the Executive Director.
Recruiting: Head of Community Engagement (Full-time position)
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Investment support: provide support on potential investee organisations screening, due diligence coordination, research on sector performance, preparing proposals, and monitoring reports
Community engagement: event organising, marketing, and relationship management with external parties, such as pro bono partners, SIP portfolio, and Social Purpose Organisations (SPOs)
Communication support: Maintain database, SIP website, and online communication channels
Ideal qualifications and experiences include:
Passion and experience in philanthropy and social investment
Language (written and verbal) abilities in English and Cantonese
Communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, handle uncertainty at all levels
Minimum 5 years of working experience
