The Board of Directors announces that SIP Executive Director, Lindy E. Lek, will be leaving the organisation on 4 February 2022 after eight years in the role.
Lindy said, “It has been an enormous privilege to lead this inspiring organisation. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to work with the team and our expert partners in supporting the critical missions of our portfolio organisations.”
We thank Lindy for her contribution in starting SIP and managing its growth over the years. As Executive Director of one of the few venture philanthropy funds in HK, Lindy oversaw the management of two VP funds totaling 16 million HKD leveraged by 10 million HKD match-funding and pro bono engagement by professional service experts valued at 14 million HKD.
Lillian Li will be joining as our new Executive Director. She comes with more than a decade of experience in the social sector, most recently, as Chief Executive and Founder of Direction Association For The Handicapped. “I’ve been wishing to work in an organisation like SIP which supports and develops social purpose organisations in our community. I am thankful that Lindy and the team have built a strong foundation and relationships over the years. With everyone’s support, SIP shall continue to play its function to promote and support SPOs in Hong Kong,” Lillian said.
We welcome Lillian and she can be reached at lillian@siphk.org.
